Sandy Tisa
Active Artist & Project Manager of Invalid Urban Visual Art Ensemble collective Sandy Tisa attended Sekolah Tinggi Seni Indonesia, until 2014. Since then, Sandy has been exhibiting works in Bandung, Surabaya, Solo, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bali, and thrice in Japan. Following Pameran Wajah Wajah Berkabung, Landscape of Life and Napas Hujan, the fourth and latest solo of Sandy showcases both the progression of the unusual fusion of impressionism & abstract expressionism that has accumulated over the years, but also the migration to what’s to come in his ever-changing portfolio

Threshold Mind showcases an edge of the world, between the lines rain and gust it’s more serene than being drained of energy. As if giving a catharsis Sandy Tisa emphasises the experience of being at one’s limit further than the scenic view, not forgetting the texture of the ground the viewer stands on and the road ahead.
Treshold Mind yang berarti Pikiran Ambang Batas, menampilkan ujung dunia. Dimana antara batas hujan dan angin kencang, suasananya lebih damai daripada terkuras energinya. Seolah memberikan katarsis, Sandy Tisa lebih menekankan pengalaman berada di ambang batas, melampaui sekadar pemandangan. Lukisan ini mengajak kita untuk tidak melupakan tekstur tanah tempat kita berpijak dan jalan yang terbentang di depan.

Ribbons of dark wind spin and jump by leaps and bounds from a central point to another in a cold icy setting, centered only by said centers, an Arthurian sword, staff or rod. The combination of different energy shines especially through the rapid current, thick mist & glistening light.
Pilar-pilar angin gelap berkelindan dan melompat dengan cepat dari satu titik pusat ke titik lainnya dalam suasana dingin yang membekukan, hanya dipusatkan oleh benda di pusat tersebut, yaitu pedang atau tongkatArthurian. Kombinasi energi yang berbeda bersinar terutama melalui arus yang cepat, kabut tebal, dan cahaya yang berkilauan.
