Stream of Awe
160 x 130 - MMoC - 2024
Exhibited in OMG? RED! ^ D^
Stream of Awe as implied emits a light flowing downwards on a stony texture, preceded by floating arterial red that gives it a feel of lighter mass but higher density, diverging along the watery path implied by notion of still-captures of movement, over the sprawling greeneries on the crevasse.
One of the pieces made specially for a love-themed exhibition, Stream of Awe’s sense of scale puts the viewer in a position of a receiver & admirer, like the romanticism movement which equates the human spirit to the untamed wildness of nature. Constructing a more grandiose notion of a higher notion of love beyond the fleeting & the prejudices.
Lively Whirl
120 x 100 cm - Mixed Media on Canvas - 2024
Exhibited in Art Jakarta Gardens 2024 & Flat Circle Stagnants
A work inspired by folk dances, specifically the motions of spinning & whirl. Indigo, magenta and crimson twist and turn in the collision of two major cyclones otherwise known as Fujiwhara effect. Both the colors and the visual is reminiscent of dynamic interactions of strong characters.

Warm on a Cool Breeze
130 x 160 cm - Mixed Media on Canvas - 2024 - Sold
Exhibited in Closed Alpha Testing
Continuing her mixed media venture with a turn from previously warmer palette, Warm on a Cool Breeze showcases a clash color scheme of a muted split complementary (Palette; color sections almost opposite in the color wheel) hues. Patches of stark ultramarine branches downwards leading the eye-direction hierarchy. On the jagged brass & edelweiss diffused a further shade of blue, rolling a seemingly rippling monochromatic waves suggested by the title. Both every now and then ebbs and flows with the fluorescent white surface, barely affected by the shades as if reflecting the side of the audience.
